Doing Better (Monday July 21st)

I got into the hospital with Tim today at about noon and good news was here to greet us. Wennie is doing a lot better and the breathing machine is set to help her a lot less! Hopefully they can get the machine out soon. I really want to see her able to eat by herself. I think her airway is starting to clear up because they extend the time in between using the cough assisting machine. We've also gotten news that she is scheduled for an MRI at 3:30 pm today! I'm really excited to see how this day turns out. Thank you all for your hope.

Thanks for the update. Wennie is definitely in my thoughts and prayers. Nikki, you are an amazing person. Stay strong, but know it is okay to seek out a friend for comfort and support...you are NOT alone.

Love,
Donna

I'm glad to hear that you are doing better. My thoughts and prayers are with you and those that support you. Remember it's ok to feel whatever you want to feel. You don't have to justify how you are feeling to anyone. Knowing the person that you are and those of your family, I know that you are all hopeful and making each other laugh when possible. Keep the faith and I hope to see you soon.

Nikki, I love you like a sister because you were always there for me during my teen years and it just stuck.
If you or your family needs anything I am here. I know your support is crucial because you are the BIG sister and
I want to let you know admire your strength, your outlook on life and you were always so supportive when I needed you.
I could not imagine a better support system stay strong.
I will be in contact.

What's the visitation status right now? I havn't seen Weennie since she left KR. I feel bad. Is there anything I can do? can I send flowers or something?
